Playback Modes Overview

Understand when to use Edit, Rehearsal, and Recital without adding uncertainty to the booth workflow.

Edit is the project and track control center. Rehearsal adds checkpoint-based practice. Recital focuses the operator on live-safe playback.

Choose the right mode

  1. Edit Use for the running order, track details, playback behavior, media checks, and named rehearsal checkpoints.
  2. Rehearsal Use when you need to begin from Track Top or a saved start point while practicing a section.
  3. Recital Use for a focused live-performance view after the project and playback behavior have been checked.

Keep the mode intentional

Switch modes for the job you are doing, not because a control is easier to find. That keeps live behavior predictable for operators and teachers.
