Devant Rehearsal for iPhone and iPad
Rehearse anywhere.
Meet Devant Rehearsal, the free app for iPhone and iPad.
Your music. Your checkpoints.
Go straight to the cue you need - without being tied down.
Free for iPhone and iPad. No account or Desktop subscription required.
Use it with your own music, an editable rehearsal file, or a Devant package prepared on Desktop.
A free rehearsal tool
Useful on its own. Better with your show.
Keep the rehearsal together
One .devantrh file holds the music, waveform, and checkpoints. Save a copy or share it when the same practice setup needs to move with you.
Bring a Devant project
Open a read-only Devant package from Desktop, choose a playlist and track, then rehearse the prepared running order on iPhone or iPad.
Focused playback
See the section. Start where it matters.
The waveform stays in view while you scrub, play, pause, and return to the selected rehearsal point. Checkpoints are reusable start anchors, not automatic stop markers.
- Navigate directly on the waveform, with a fixed playhead and visible checkpoint markers.
- Choose, add, rename, recolor, or reposition checkpoints for the way you teach.
- Set a 5-, 10-, or 20-second start countdown, then play through the device speaker, Bluetooth, or AirPlay output.
Apple Watch companion
Control the active rehearsal without reaching for your phone.
Use the companion for play, pause, stop or return, playback-delay selection, and a quick checkpoint list. The paired iPhone stays responsible for the audio and rehearsal state.

One Devant workflow
Build the show on Desktop. Rehearse it anywhere.
Devant Desktop remains the place to prepare and organize a full production. Devant Rehearsal makes its focused rehearsal workflow portable.
