Save and Share Rehearsals on iPhone
Keep one track, waveform, and checkpoint plan in an editable rehearsal file, then save a copy or share it through iPhone's system share sheet.
A .devantrh Devant Rehearsal document keeps the audio, waveform, and checkpoints for one rehearsal together. It is the file to reopen, copy, and share when you want the same practice setup on another device.
Save changes as you work
Devant Rehearsal saves checkpoint and rehearsal changes to the active .devantrh document as you work. Use Save from the rehearsal menu when you want to request an immediate write.
If a Changes not saved message appears, choose Try Again or Save As before leaving the rehearsal. Save As lets you choose a new name or Files location and then continues in that copy.
Share a rehearsal
- Open the rehearsal menu and choose Share.
- Choose Messages, Mail, AirDrop, Files, or another available destination in the iPhone share sheet.
- Send the generated .devantrh file with the included rehearsal title, invitation to open it in Devant Rehearsal, and Devant App Store link.
Result: The recipient receives one rehearsal file containing the track, waveform, and checkpoints from the shared copy.
Open a received rehearsal
- If Messages, Mail, or another app offers a preview, use its Share or Open In action to choose Devant Rehearsal.
- For a received file that is read-only, choose a Files save location when Devant Rehearsal asks for one.
- Open the saved .devantrh from that location whenever you want to continue the rehearsal.
Result: The recipient edits their own saved rehearsal copy without changing the original attachment.
