Open Audio and Devant Projects on iPhone

Choose a standalone audio file or a Devant package from Files, then use the workflow that matches your rehearsal.

Devant Rehearsal uses the iPhone Files browser to open the source you choose. One path creates a standalone local rehearsal; the other lets you select a playlist and track from a Devant package.

Open a standalone audio file

Select Select File/Project on the opening screen.
Choose an AAC, M4A, MP3, FLAC, or WAV file from Files.
Wait for Devant Rehearsal to prepare the selected track and generate its waveform when needed.

Result: The selected file opens as a one-track rehearsal with its own local checkpoint tray.

Open a Devant package

Select Select File/Project and choose the .devantpkg file from Files.
On the project-selection screen, choose the playlist you need.
Choose the track to open in the rehearsal view.

Result: The iPhone opens the chosen track with the package's available rehearsal checkpoints.

Understand package changes

A package opened on iPhone is a local rehearsal copy. It does not continuously synchronize with the package in cloud storage or with an open Desktop project.

If a shared project changes on Desktop, open the updated package from Files when you need that newer version. When you share updated rehearsal data from iPhone, Devant Rehearsal creates a new package rather than overwriting the original package you selected.
